GamesTM
Imagine's multiformat mag gets its own website.
Imagine Publishing today announced the launch of the www.gamestm.co.uk – the online portal of the multi award-winning multiformat title.
Covering all current videogames formats – PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PC, Arcade and iPad/iPhone, as well as retro titles and machines – the site aims to deliver the same high-quality features and interviews for which games™ has become globally renowned.
In addition to this, rather than simply delivering the same news content as other websites, gamestm.co.uk will deliver the games™ view on the most important industry topics and developments.
Over the last seven years, games™ magazine has gained industry- wide respect for its authoritative voice and refusal to bow down to PR pressure – this same voice will provide gamers an opinion they can trust on key industry announcements and developments.
“With the launch of the games™ website, we’re looking to bring the same great qualities that the magazine has brought to print media to the Internet,” commented Nick Jones, Editor In Chief of Imagine’s NowGamerNetwork. “games™ can boast some the industry’s greatest writers, and the launch of this site will be a breath of fresh air to an online gaming community suffocating in fanboyism, hyperbole and ill- informed opinion. We’re hoping that games™’s army of followers will embrace the new site and the quality journalism that it will bring to the Internet.”
“It’s great that games™’s well-respected opinion and award-winning content can now reach a much wider audience,” said Rick Porter, Editor In Chief of games™ magazine. “Going beyond simply reporting the news, the site will feature interviews with gaming legends and indie developers alike. Also, with the biggest reviews flagged up each week, and our thoughts on the most important industry topics added each and every day, www.gamestm.co.uk is an essential read for anyone who has a true passion for gaming.”
Imagine Publishing is one of the UK’s fastest-growing consumer specialist publishers. Formed in May 2005, Imagine now publishes 20 regular magazines and 30 websites in the videogames, computing, entertainment, motoring and photography markets. An Imagine magazine is purchased every ten seconds.
