GamesAid Charity Poker Tournament
Sponsored by Relentless Software and to be staged during Develop in July.
18th June 2009, London – GamesAid, a UK games industry charity for children and young people, today announced that the popular games industry charity poker tournament is set to return to The Develop Conference in Brighton in July.
The fourth GamesAid Charity Poker Tournament, sponsored by Relentless Software, will take place from 7.30pm on the evening of Tuesday 14th July at The Grosvenor Casino, 9 Grand Junction Rd., near Brighton Pier.
The game is Texas Hold ‘Em No Limits, buy-in is £50 and to take part, players need to register at www.justgiving.com/gamesaidpokerdevelop09 by 1st July.
As always, the tournament is open to players of all abilities, from Rupert Loman, to Ian Livingstone.
Please note, the Develop Pub Quiz will not be running on the same night as the poker tournament this year and we only have sixty seats, so please register as soon as possible to guarantee a place.
A wide range of prizes have been generously donated by Gem and IGA Worldwide including:
1st prize - £250 cash, a £400 pair of SHURE SE530 earphones, bottle of Courvoisier and a year of bragging rights
2nd prize - MICROSOFT XBOX 360, loads of great games and bottle of Courvoisier
3rd prize – a £300 LOGITECH G25 Steering Wheel for PS3/PC and bottle of Courvoisier
