Games Convention Online issues call for papers
Leipzig event asks for submissions on browser, client and mobile game topics
Organisers of Games Convention Online (GCO) have launched a call for papers, as the conference prepares for its second annual event in Leipzig this summer.
Due to take place from July 8 to 11, the trade show remains focused on browser, client and mobile games. Due to popular demand an extra business day has been added this year, although the event will still be open to the public from Friday until Sunday.
Industry experts are invited to submit any relevant suggestions for special interest talks, panel discussions or company presentations. The closing date for submissions is May 7.
Suggested topic categories include development and production, business and legal, browser and client-based games, social and mobile games and internationalisation and international markets.
"The success of the first GCO demonstrated how important it is for the online and mobile games industry to have its own platform, specifically supporting dialogue within the industry. For this reason and in addition to the planned Business Talks, the GCO is also issuing a call for papers to all of the industry's interested experts and companies," said Silvana Kuerschner, strategy director of Games Convention Global.
Submissions can be made at the official Games Convention Online website.
