Business Matching and Business Talks
Setting up new contacts, networking or paving the way for business deals – for decision-makers from the entertainment, games development, IT, telecommunications, media, marketing, promotion and consulting sectors, the GAMES CONVENTION ONLINE is an important platform. The focus on the online and mobile games markets facilitates precisely targeted meetings in a relaxed atmosphere.
With the help of the Business Matching system, trade visitors can find out ahead of the event which companies are in place in the Business Center and already set up their first appointments. This saves complicated arrangements and simplifies the search for the right partners for their meetings.
The GAMES CONVENTION ONLINE Business Talks are also based in the Business Center. Talks and panel discussions are subdivided on the basis of the key topics of Social Gaming, Internationalisation/Markets, Trends & Challenges, Mobile Gaming and Financing. From the Thursday to Saturday, more than 40 of the industry's experts, including those from Germany, Italy and the USA, will be giving talks on the trends and new developments. Here too, the exchange of knowledge and know-how for the establishment of a dynamic market will be prominent.
The speakers include Achim Himmelreich (manager, Mücke, Sturm & Company), Alexander Krug (managing director, Softgames), Dr. Pascal Zuta (managing director, Aeria Games Europe), Doki Tops (managing director, Eximion), Lloyd Melnick (general manager, European Operations, Playdom), Nils-Holger Henning (director of corporate communications, Bigpoint), Patrick Warnking (Vertical Leader Public, Media & Entertainment, Google), Fabrizio Calì (CEO, Kalicanthus) and Marco Arcordi (founder & president, AIOMI). The programme can be viewed in full on the website www.gamesconvention.com.
About the GAMES CONVENTION ONLINE
The GAMES CONVENTION ONLINE is the only dedicated specialist event for browser, client and mobile games. In the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL), an international exhibition section provides information on the industry's latest developments. It is accompanied by a wide-ranging parallel programme of talks and panels dealing with the industry's new developments and trends. Over the three days of the trade show, the international industry meets up to discuss new developments and trends, and in the course of Business Matching sessions, to set up and cultivate international contacts as well as to initiate new business.
