Gameloft signs with NBC for Heroes

Game to feature script from TV writers

Gameloft has inked a deal with NBC Universal to create a game based on the award-winning drama Heroes.

"Heroes has created a large, die-hard fan culture and we are excited to bring the action and intrigue of NBC's leading drama series to gamers and Heroes fans alike," commented Gonzague de Vallois, VP of publishing at Gameloft.

"With an international cast and rapidly growing international level of success, Heroes has achieved a massive global appeal and as such, Gameloft is the perfect publisher to deliver Heroes: The Mobile Game worldwide," he added.

The mobile game will be based on the events of series one and two of Heroes, and will include script contributions from the writers of the TV series.

"Gameloft's unwavering commitment to quality mobile games, its track record with top-tier TV and film properties and its unrivalled worldwide distribution capability make it uniquely qualified to launch Heroes: The Mobile Game," said Jeremy Laws, senior VP at Universal Mobile Entertainment.
