Gameloft signs Vijay Singh for mobile title

Mobile game developer and publisher Gameloft has announced that it has signed professional golfer Vijay Singh to lend his name to a new mobile title, which is set for release in Q4 of this year.

Vijay Singh Real Golf 2005 will be the first videogame title that the sportsman has endorsed, and he commented that "the quality and feeling of immersion offered by this mobile game will really surprise players."

"The signing of this agreement confirms our strategy," according to Gameloft marketing deputy director Karine Kaiser. "Gameloft's aim is to position itself in all game genres and sports. Therefore, one of our priorities is to team up with the best brands and licenses."
