Gameloft named fastest-growing company in Europe
Mobile developer hits top spot out of 500 companies
Mobile developer Gameloft has been named the fastest-growing company in Europe by influential publication Business Week.
Coming first out of 500 companies in the annual Europe's Hot Growth list, the firm has been praise by Business Week who said, "when it comes to videogames, Gameloft thinks small but still manages to win big."
Gameloft will be honoured at the at an awards ceremony and gala dinner to be held at the Hofburg in Vienna next month.
The annual list of fast growing, job-creating companies is compiled by Europe's 500 Entrepreneurs for Growth, a non-profit organisation representing 2000 high growth entrepreneurs.
To qualify for the list, companies are analysed over a three year period, looking at employment and revenue growth.
As well as owning its own brands such as Block Breaker Deluxe and Asphalt: Urban GT, the firm has also recently singed the rights to produce games based on hit TV shows Lost and Desperate Housewives.
Gameloft also boasts distribution over 70 countries and has offices in New York, San Francisco, Paris, London, Beijing and more.
