Gamelab closes out line-up with Lemmings creator and EA Sports VP

David Jones and Daryl Holt will join previously announced speakers Amy Henning, Todd Howard, and Shawn Layden

The final line-up of speakers for Gamelab 2018 has been confirmed with Grand Theft Auto series co-creator David Jones, and EA Sports head of operations Daryl Holt rounding out the schedule.

Jones will be appearing on stage with Robert Purchese, senior staff writer with our colleagues over at Eurogamer, for a lifetime award presentation.

Not only did Jones co-create one of the most recognisable entertainment brands in the world with Grand Theft Auto, he also created Lemmings, Crackdown, and APB: All Points Bulletin.

Holt, meanwhile, will be appearing on stage to discuss making games bigger than sport.

As vice president and head of operations for EA Sports worldwide studios, Holt is responsible for driving all planning and development across the EA Sports portfolio.

With a career spanning more than 28 years across a variety of industries, Holt first joined the publisher as COO of the EA-Tiburon studio in 2008; he was appointed to the position of vice president and head of operations at EA Sports in 2013.

Other key attendees at this year's Gamelab are acclaimed games writer Amy Henning, Fallout and Elder Scrolls lead developer Todd Howard, and president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America, Shawn Layden.

Previously confirmed speaker's to Gamelab's already impressive line-up also include: The Witness creator Jon Blow, The Behemoth co-founder John Baez, Hazelight Studios founder Josef Fares, Bossa Studios founder Henrique Olifiers, and Magic Leap's Aleissia Laidacker.
