Speakers from Nokia and Eidos lined up for June's event in North East England.

The head of publisher relations at Nokia and five more leading experts from the games industry and wider business world have signed up to speak at the GameHorizon Conference, which will take place on 23-24 June at the Sage Gateshead in North East England.
The Super Early Bird discount ends at 23:55 on 31 March, so anyone looking to get their ticket at the cheapest possible price is advised to book now.
An exclusive audience of around 300 games industry executives are expected at the conference, which takes a look at the high-level issues facing the industry now, and where the business opportunities will lie in the near future.
Ian Livingstone, the creative director of Eidos, will host the conference for the second year running. And the latest speakers to sign up are:
• Alex Bubb, senior third party account manager at Nokia, who will be speaking about where the opportunities lie for developers and publishers making and releasing games on mobile platforms.
• Chris Bergstresser, chief executive of Webcarzz, a casual multiplayer online racing game aimed soley at boys, which recently received $4m funding to develop the game.
• Patric Palm, CEO of Hansoft, the world's leading vendor of tools for project management and QA in the games industry.
• Steve Clayton, Software-plus-Services lead at Microsoft International, who will be speaking about how new technologies will change the marketplace for the games industry.
• Robert Bond, head of intellectual property at leading UK law firm Speechly Bircham
• And Robert Gurr, regional marketing manager at Custom House

Also speaking at the conference will be Mark Rein, vice president and co-founder of Epic Games, Rick Gibson, director of specialist games industry consultancy Games Investor Consulting, Richard St John, a highly-respected business author and success analyst, and Roger Walkden, chief executive of Game Domain International.
