GAME.co.uk Celebrates Brain Awareness Week

12th March 2007 - To celebrate National Brain Awareness Week, online games retailer GAME.co.uk are going all intellectual and encouraging customers to give their brain a thorough workout. From 12th - 18th March they will be offering Dr Kawashima's Brain Training for only £16.99, in addition to a number of superb bundle offers!

Brain Training allows budding Einsteins to keep their brains young by performing mental activities. When users first start a new game, they will be given a Brain Age Check that determines the age of their brains. Each day, they can compete for the high score in any activities that they have unlocked. They also can check the age of their brains once per day. The more training they do, the more activities they will unlock.

There will also be a competition running to win one of five DS Lite's and copy of Brain Training, so five lucky winners can start to get their brains in shape for next year's event!

Brain Awareness Week is a yearly event coordinated by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives, a non-profit organisation of 260 leading neuroscientists committed to advancing public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research.

According to experts people should look to exercise their brain for five minutes a day in order to keep it healthy and with GAME.co.uk's special offers, there's never been a better time to get training.
