GAME recruits EasyJet CCO to Board
Dana Dunne joins group as non-executive director
GAME has announced the appointment of Dana Dunne, chief commercial officer of EasyJet, to its Board of Directors.
Danne has held a number of senior positions in the telecom and media industries prior to his role at EasyJet.
He will replace Jean-Paul Giraud on the Board, who has completed two terms of office and who will step down from his position on January 14.
"We are delighted to welcome Dana Dunne to our Board as a non executive director," said GAME chairman Peter Lewis.
"He has extensive experience in customer relationship management and maximising the potential of online distribution channels in international markets. His experience across a number of rapidly evolving industries will bring complementary skills to the Board.
"I would also like to thank Jean-Paul Giraud, on behalf of all the directors, for his contribution to our growth over the last six years. His experience and insight have proved invaluable as we have expanded organically and through acquisitions in European markets, and he has made a significant impact on the Group's strategy."
"I am pleased to join the GAME Group Board at such an interesting time for the video games industry," added Dunne.
"GAME Group is expanding and developing its customer offer across a number of new channels, interwoven with its successful international store portfolio. I look forward to helping the Group achieve its ambition of further developing its multichannel business and reinforcing its market leading position."
