Game Consulting Demos AGEIA PhysX Processor with New Arena Online Live Combat Game

French 3D outsourcing specialist selects AGEIA physics technology for first branded title

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - May 17, 2005 - At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), AGEIATM Technologies, Inc., the pioneer in hardware-accelerated physics for games, today announced that Game Consulting, the French specialist of 3D outsourcing, will be demonstrating the power of AGEIA's PhysX hardware and software with their new live combat game Arena Online. The demo will be shown by appointment only at the AGEIA booth at E3 (Kentia Hall #7532).

The development team at Game Consulting is integrating specific physics features of the AGEIA PhysX processor into Arena Online using AGEIA's NovodeX physics software, a powerful middleware physics engine for creating dynamic physical environments on all major game platforms.

"We are very excited to be showing our demo of Arena Online with AGEIA physics technology at E3," said Nicolas Bonvalet, managing director at Game Consulting. "AGEIA's NovodeX physics software is easy to use and the results are very powerful in our next-generation live combat game."

"As an outsourcer, Game Consulting has developed fine content for major publishers, and we're very happy that they've chosen AGEIA PhysX technology for their first title under their own name," said Andy Keane, vice president of marketing for AGEIA.

About AGEIA

AGEIATM Technologies, Inc. is a fabless semiconductor company and the pioneer of hardware-accelerated physics for games. Its flagship product, the PhysX processor, is the world's first dedicated physics processing unit - a completely new hardware category. The PhysX processor and supporting software deliver the processing horsepower to calculate real-time interactive worlds. Developers can define these worlds to obey the laws of classical physics, or create their own physical laws that make their game a unique, hyper-dimensional experience.

AGEIA seeks to ignite innovation in the games industry by working with leading developers, publishers, add-in board vendors and console manufacturers to deliver the next generation of physically immersive entertainment. Consumer add-in boards and systems equipped with the AGEIA PhysX processor and games that take advantage of the technology will be available in late 2005. For more information visit www.ageia.com.
