GAME Celebrates One Year In Hamleys
And Gives Away a Limited Edition Red DS Console!
19th October 2006 - Europe's leading video games chain, GAME, is celebrating the 1st anniversary of GAME in Hamley's from Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd October 2006. Customers should come down to the store for the opportunity to take part in a wide range of competitions running throughout the weekend and be in with the chance of winning a fabulous prize, including a limited edition Hot Rod Red DS console* signed by the cast of the spy film Alex Rider: Stormbreaker!
If you missed the film at the cinema then the DVD out next month will show you how 14-year old Alex Rider, when recruited as a spy for MI6, uses his specially equipped red Nintendo DS as the ultimate spy gadget.
GAME are giving the lucky winner the chance to win an exclusive red DS, minus the spy tools, but adorned with autographs of none other than author Anthony Horowitz and two of the film's stars: Alex Pettyfer and Alicia Silverstone.
All you need to do in order to win is get down to GAME in Hamleys, Regent Street on Saturday 21st October and score the lowest 'brain age' of the day on the game Brain Training. There will also be five DS Lite consoles and copies of the game available to give away, plus the first 50 customers of the day will receive a goody bag!
As they say "you've got to be in it to win it" so get down to Hamleys this weekend for your chance to take home a fabulous prize.

- There is one prize of a special red Japanese edition of the Nintendo DS, signed by the stars of the Stormbreaker film Alex Pettyfer and Alicia Silverstone, as well as the author of the Stormbreaker books, Anthony Horowitz. This prime edition of the Nintendo DS is not currently on sale in Europe, but it will be provided with an appropriate adaptor, for use by the winner in his/her country of residence.

- Brain Training (£19.99) allows users to give their grey matter the workout that it needs to stay sharp, focused and young. When users first start a new game, they will be given a Brain Age Check that determines the age of their brains. Each day, they can compete for the high score in any activities that they have unlocked. They also can check the age of their brains once per day. The more training they do, the more activities they will unlock.
