Game and Game World Championship 2010

South America semi-finals to be held this weekend in São Paulo, Brazil ahead of next month's grand final at GSTAR 2010.

 

Korea Creative Contents Agency announced to hold ‘GNGWC2010 (Game and Game World Championship 2010)’ South America semi-final Rounds at Brazil, São Paulo Espaco Brooklin, on October 9, regional time. GNGWC2010 is a global game competition, a festival where online gamers gather from around the world.

 

GNGWC2010, with 3 games of Ndoors’ ‘Atlantica’, OnNet’s ‘Shot Online’, and Joymax’s ‘Silkroad Online’ chosen as its formal events, has started its regional online preliminary rounds in July, and finished its semi-final rounds in the North America, Europe, and South-East Asia region up to present date.

 

After the South America semi-final round is held in São Paulo on October 9, and Korea semi-final round held in Su-Won, Kyungi Province on October 31, the final winners participate in Korea’s biggest game exhibition ‘G star 2010’ once again, held in BEXCO, Busan on November 21, to compete in their final rounds.

 

The total of 40 players who entered the semi-final rounds through intense online preliminary competition will participate once again in fierce competition on October 9 th, to enter the final rounds. For the top winners and all participants of this competition, proceeded in a tournament way, rich prizes will be given, and to the total of 5 participants; the 1 st, 2 nd prize winners of ‘Silkroad Online’, ‘Atlantica’, Winner of ‘Shot Online’; a qualification for participating in the final rounds held in Korea will be given.

 

Meanwhile, ‘Shot Online’ and ‘Silkroad Online’, chosen as GNGWC’s formal events from the 1 st competition held in 2006, have rised to represent GNGWC, and is loved by gamers all around the world. ‘Atlantica’ is also meeting with gamers around the world for 3 successive years, selected as one of GNGWC’s formal events in 2008, with its entry into formal service.
