Gala Inc ranking
Tokyo-based online game publisher bags 135th place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific Index.

Gala Inc, has announced that it has been ranked at in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific Index. The Tokyo based parent of Gala Networks Europe has been placed at number 135 in the index of the fastest growing technology, media and communications in the Asia Pacific Region.
Gala Inc was one of the first Japanese companies to provide online games to the US market and has been a pioneer in the free-to-play computer game market. This non-subscription based business model allows users to play the game for free, and use the “gPotato” virtual currency for items to customise their avatars should they choose to.
It’s European arm, Gala Networks Europe, has published three games in the French and German markets. The publisher’s fourth game, Dragonica, sees its expansion into the UK and Irish market in 2009, and will continue to grow in French and German markets.

Gala Inc. was listed 12th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Japan in 2008.
