Future's COO Simon Wear steps down
Publishing vet leaves company after 18 years
Chief operating officer of Future Publishing, Simon Wear, has announced that he is to step down from the company with immediate effect.
Wear has been with the special interest magazine group for 18 years, and in a statement said that he intends to spend some time with family before pursuing a new role.
"Simon has been a great asset to Future and we're very sorry to see him go. I completely understand that after many years with the company, he's decided that he wishes to take on new challenges," said Stevie Spring, chief executive of Future.
