Future’s Online Gambler goes digital and adds one million copies a month!
UK’s first online gambling magazine hits 1,500,000 copies with pioneering digital version
14/09/05 - Future announces that Online Gambler, the UK's first dedicated online gambling magazine is boosting its circulation to a massive 1,500,000 copies per month, thanks to the introduction of a pioneering new digital version.
The innovative digital version will be distributed through 1,000,000 covermounted CDs and DVDs, across Future's growing portfolio of technology, games, music and entertainment titles - using digital publishing software from Zinio. Online Gambler will also be made available to subscribers of Zinio's recently announced www.ziniomag.co.uk and its global virtual newsstand at www.zinio.com.
Since launching Online Gambler in March this year, the monthly print run of 500,000 copies has been distributed as a supplement across a number of Future's male-interest magazines, including PC Format, PC Gamer, PC Zone and T3. The announcement of the new digital version does not affect magazines which currently include print copies.
To celebrate its massively increased circulation, the November issue of Online Gambler is entitled the 'millionaire edition.' The special celebrates the high rolling lifestyle of the poker glitterati, and looks at how readers can improve their game and aspire to join them. With input from some of the world's biggest poker stars, readers can dramatically increase their chances of making it to the final table.
