Futuremark opens dedicated game development studio

PC graphics specialist Futuremark is establishing a games development studio to create its very own IP.

PC graphics specialist Futuremark is establishing a games development studio to create its very own IP.

Futuremark is responsible for the 3DMark software series, with more than 35 million copies distributed worldwide.

"Futuremark Games Studio is committed to developing original IP games with the highest quality gameplay combined with our established track record of creating blow-your-socks-off visuals," commented Tero Sarkkinen, CEO of Futuremark Corporation.

Although specific details of any future titles have not been confirmed, the company has said that it plans to work on a variety of technical levels, not just for high-spec PCs.
