Future sells MCV to B2B media specialist

UK video games business publication MCV has another new owner, GamesIndustry.biz understands.
Datateam Business Media has picked up the publication and associated events from Future Publishing, which acquired MCV from NewBay Media in April this year. It's the third new owner for MCV in nine months.
Datateam is a B2B media specialist based in Maidstone, and operates a number of titles and events in the healthcare, retail and building services industries.
The firm has also acquired other Future Publishing (and former NewBay) brands including PCR and ToyNews.
GamesIndustry.biz has approached both companies for comment.
