Future restructures games ad sales team

Publishers get single contact for cross media advertising solutions

31/05/07 - Future, the special-interest media group, has today announced a comprehensive restructure of its UK games ad sales team, with immediate effect.

Enabling software publishers to access Future's complete portfolio of the UK's leading games magazines, websites and live events from a single contact, advertisers will be able to book the most comprehensive media solutions available to the games market, through their Ad Manager.

Alongside Future's respected print and online offerings, advertisers will be able to access the company's growing roster of live shows and events, including the legendary Golden Joystick Awards, and the Metal Hammer Golden Gods, supported this year by Activision's Guitar Heroes.

The restructured games ad sales team is headed up by the newly appointed Ad Director - Games and Digital, Ryan Ferguson and Group Account Manager, Charlie Oakman, and is strengthened by the addition of three new Advertising Managers; Lara Bakshi, Marie Brewer and Dudley Rochelle, who move from other portfolios within Future's ad sales outfit.

As the media landscape continues to diversify, Future now offers cross-platform campaigns to its clients in order to add value to any marketing activity. Recently, the company ran a campaign for Intel's Core 2 Duo Extreme gaming processor driving reach to over 5.5 million users/readers, which ran across Future's magazine and website portfolio, as well as the creation of a specially-skinned version of www.gamesradar.com and two multiplayer gaming events organised and promoted by Future.
