Full Sail restructuring but game course safe

"There are no plans to suspend any of our degree programs"

Full Sail University, which specializes in entertainment, has denied rumors that it's shutting down its game development program.

"Recently, we have undergone a minimal strategic restructuring of internal departments and staff," Full Sail University's public relations manager Casey Tanous told GamesIndustry.biz

"There are no plans to suspend any of our degree programs. Over the past few months we have actually expanded our degree program offerings within our emerging technology and programming-related degrees in order to meet the demands of both our students and the industry."

The university was established in 1979 and is based in Florida. It recently boasted that seven Full Sail graduates worked on Destiny at Bungie's Washington studio.
