sekretagent Productions creates and/or produces the characters, worlds and stories behind some of the best selling and most critically acclaimed filmed and interactive entertainment on earth. In the business of imagining and producing new, original IP, sekretagent works with the world's leading publishers and studios, providing content creation, screenwriting, development and production services in the film, internet, and video game industries. sekretagent has also attracted significant attention for its slate of fresh, edgy films. sekretagent is currently developing eight major studio feature films, most of which are highly commercial “event” films in the action and fantasy genres, with budgets in excess of $100 Million. Examples include SLEEPING BEAUTY (Sony), THE LITTLE PRINCE (Pathe), THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS (Fox 2000), THE HUNT (Universal dir: Darren Aronofsky) and THE JUNGLE BOOK. The company's wholly owned subsidiary, S2 Filmed Entertainment, focuses on smaller films which can be made independently, often in the horror or thriller genres. Examples of current S2 projects in development include: DOGS OF BABEL (Mandate), SON OF THE GUN (Fox Searchlight; dir: Jonathan Jakubowicz), THE LIGHT OF FALLING STARS (dir: Tim Bui), THE WEDDING PACT (Fox Searchlight; dir: Rick Famuyiwa) and THE POISON KITCHEN, based on the book EXPLAINING HITLER by Ron Rosenbaum. S2's first feature film, THE PLAGUE, which was co-produced by Clive Barker and stars James Van Der Beek, was released in 2006 by Sony Screen Gems Studios. S2 is currently in preproduction on three independent pictures: RELENTLESS, which star Karl Urban and is to be directed by Demian Lichtenstein; BELOW THE SURFACE, to be directed by Matthew Leutwyler, and EVERY GOOD BOY DOES FINE, which will be directed by Daniel Minahan.
In its earlier years, sekretagent Productions produced and released four television commercials and two short films which garnered significant critical attention.
