Freaky Creatures
Creature creation system laid bare.
MALIBU, Calif. - October 13, 2008 - Abandon Interactive Entertainment today released new screenshots showing the robust creature customization of its upcoming online creature building and battling game, Freaky Creatures. Hitting shelves in early 2009, Freaky Creatures combines the best of collectible action figures, trading card games, MMOs and virtual worlds. The new screenshots demonstrate players' ability to customize their creature with a variety of parts and powers, allowing for more than three billion visual combinations.
• The first batch of screenshots show, step-by-step, how a player chooses a variety of parts for their creature and customizes them with horns, wings and weapons. During the selection process, players can see how certain parts carry different levels of defense, health and damage.
• The remaining screenshots show how to equip a creature with various powers, such as a fire circle, a flaming back, or a force field. These powers work strategically together while in battle, allowing for increased defense or destruction power.
Freaky Creatures is an upcoming MMO game on a reusable USB flash drive that is bundled with collectable action figures. Players take their action figures online and build their own ultimate, customizable creature and battle against friends. Players can socialize and interact with the Freaky Creatures universe by building their own teams, posting leader boards and stats and playing mini-games. Starter packs will be available in early 2009 for $19.99.
