FounderChampion award
TGC - The Games Company honored for its "innovative and successful corporate concept".
Berlin, 18th of March 2009. TGC – The Games Company has won the “FounderChampion” award 2009. Founded in 2006, the computer- and videogames publisher managed to convince the jury of its innovative and successful corporate concept and claimed the title of the nationwide competition winner. The company’s intelligent combination of publisher and developer as part of an internal centralized control system provides TGC with a unique position as creator of high value content and a strong focus on marketing. The award show is going to take place as part of the German founding and trading days on March 19th inside the historical rooms of the Federal Ministry of Economy in Berlin. Expected guests range from politics to economy and media.
With the prestigious award, the “KfW Mittelstandsbank” honors the engagement of medium-sized companies in Germany for the third time. Entitled for the award were young companies, which managed to maintain a strong position on the market within the last 5 years. Main criterias were the successful entrance to the market, a positive trading volume, the creation of jobs as well as the innovative value and capacity of the business idea.
Markus Malti, CEO of TGC, welcomes the commendation: “The award confirms the success of our innovative business model. During the last three years we were able to octuplicate the number of employees and generate a clear increase in sales. Personally, I consider the Founder Champion Award as an additional motivation for our ambitious plans in the future and the continuing internationalization of TGC.”
