Foto Showdown
Two new walkthrough trailers to be had.
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today revealed two new trailers for the upcoming turn-based strategy RPG, Foto Showdown for the Nintendo DSi™. In the first trailer, players are briefed on fighting with their monsters through an extensive step-by-step guide on how to read stats and perfect their attack strategies. Once gamers have learned the basics in monster combat from the first video, the second trailer provides useful tips on using the capture camera and collecting new cameras to spawn even more powerful monsters. As players progress in the game, they will take photos of increasingly rare and highly sought-after monsters which they can later take into battle.
In Foto Showdown players must snap photos using the Nintendo DSi camera to generate monsters based on the dominant colors in those photos. Once players create their own distinctive monster, they must then enter a brutal turn-based duel against battle-tested monsters that challenge each monster's unique abilities. As players make their way through more than 70 levels they will be able to upgrade their powers, purchase deadlier weapons, and add medicine and tools by winning tournaments and beating opponents.
Gamers can simultaneously fight with up to six monsters at a time and will become progressively stronger, ultimately collecting up to 152 different monsters, each with their own unique capabilities. As players compete, new cameras and levels will become available, allowing players to buy or sell monsters and purchase an array of upgrades and equipment. Connecting via local wireless connection, players can unleash the destruction and participate in multiplayer face-offs and even swap ferocious monsters from each other's decks.
Foto Showdown is scheduled for release in March 2010 for the Nintendo DSi™. To download the new trailers and for more information, please visit: www.konami.com/downloads.
