Fortnite daily mobile revenue reaches $2m

Launch of Season 5 sets new record of $3 million revenue in a single day

Fortnite daily revenue on mobile reached an new all-time high on July 13 when players spent roughly $3 million in a single day.

This beat out the previous record of $1.9 million which coincided with the launch of Season 4 on May 1.

Between its March 15 launch on mobile and the close of Season 4 on July 11, player spend was roughly $1.2 million per according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence.

Since the launch of Season 5 on July 13 however, daily spend has climbed to $2 million. This represents a 12 per cent increase on the previous ten days, and a 19 per cent increase on the daily average spend during that same period.

Currently Fortnite mobile is only available on iOS. Despite this, it succeeded in earning $100 million within its first 90 days and continues to outpace PlayerUnknown's Battleground (which has nearly twice as many downloads) in terms of revenue.
