Fortix
Qix-style arcade game gets community-driven updates.
Budapest, Hungary – April 27, 2009 – Game developer Nemesys Team Studio is proud to announce an update to their warm welcomed fence-off game Fortix available though Steam.
“Actually we were surprised on the success of Fortix. Originally it was meant to be a handheld casual for PSP, but the PC version received even better reviews than the console game.” said Szabolcs Józsa, managing director of Nemesys Team Studio. “We have decided to keep an eye on the Steam community because they have given us some very inspiring ideas, that could make our game better.”
The specific changes include:
• a Retry button added to the in-game popup
• WASD keyboard controls
• Hungarian version available
• Russian version available
• Friends leaderboard available
The updates will be applied automatically once the Steam client is restarted.
Nemesys Team Studio has also decided to add new maps and expand the soundtrack of the game in the later updates.
