Sports Director today celebrates the launch of its dedicated Football Director DS website with the announcement of a great competition which will give visitors to the site a chance to win a collection of official Premier League DVDs featuring highlights of many of the most exciting top-flight games from the past 15 years.

The new site, which goes live today at www.footballdirector.com, features up-to-the-minute football news feeds, information on the Nintendo DS™ game and its many features, a blog from the game's creators and a forum where fans can express their views on any subject relating to the eagerly-awaited football management game or football in general.

In addition to all of this football-related content, visitors to the site will also be in with a chance to win one of ten great prizes as, from now until the day of the game's launch, every person who registers with the website willl be entered into a free prize draw. The winners of this competition will receive the first four-volumes of the 'Premier League Classic Matches' DVD collection; each box set contains fives discs packed with the most thrilling encounters from the history of the world's most popular domestic football competition.

"Rather than create a straightforward information-driven website, we thought that it would be in keeping with the game itself if we were to create a site that encouraged fan participation... and we think that we've achieved this in some style," says Oliver Birch, Marketing Manager with Pinnacle. "The DVD competition will add a little incentive - if any were needed - for visitors to join in and help make this site a great destination for football fans."

Published on the Sports Director label and developed by Four Door Lemon, Football Director DS will be released through Pinnacle Entertainment in November 2008.
