EA's European publishing boss Gerhard Florin and ESA president Doug Lowenstein are to deliver the keynote addresses of the conference programme at the European Games Network trade show in London this September, it has been announced.
Lowenstein will open the first day of the conference on September 1st with a keynote address looking forward to the next decade in interactive entertainment, while Florin will be on hand to deliver the keynote opening the second day of the conference.
The EGN conference programme, which runs alongside the EGN trade show and European Developers Forum developer conference at London's ExCeL exhibition centre from September 1st to 3rd, is designed to cover a range of topics of relevance for the European games business.
"EGN is for people in the business of games," explained ELSPA's business development director and conference programme organiser Tamsin Aspinall, "and individuals of the calibre of Gerhard Florin and Doug Lowenstein demonstrate the level of influence the conference programme will bring to delegates. It is a reflection of the positive reaction of the industry worldwide to EGN and provides a solid platform on which to build a high quality and, more important, highly relevant conference programme."
The EGN conference programme is designed to "dovetail" with the event's meeting planner service, allowing delegates to combine attendance at relevant conference sessions with their own meeting schedule.
