Flashman Studios/Slitherine deal

San Francisco, CA – September 3, 2008 – Flashman Studios, a leading business management firm in the interactive entertainment industry, announced today that it has finalized an agreement with Slitherine, an award winning historical games publisher, to assist them in finding North American publishing partners for future titles.

“This is an exciting time for our company as we transition into publishing. Slitherine will of course continue to develop its own titles and we have an impressive lineup for 2009.” said Iain McNeil, development and Production Director at Slitherine. “Working with such an established company with the track record of Flashman Studios, will be a huge benefit and help us to expand into the exciting North American marketplace.

Slitherine is a leading developer of historically based video games titles extending back to Legion and Legion Gold and the award winning title Spartan from 2004. More recently Slitherine has been working closely with the HISTORY™ TV Channel brand and its first release THE HISTORY CHANNEL® Great Battles of Rome on PS2, PSP and PC achieved a top ten chart position in all major European territories. Additionally Slitherine has just announced that it has signed the Horrible Histories brand based on the popular series of children’s books and the MILITARY HISTORY™ brand dedicated to military history enthusiasts. Slitherine will release a series of console games based on these licenses alongside other major licenses to be announced in the near future.
