Next weekend in San Francisco, with more info on its surprisingly restrained website.
COPENHAGEN, Denmark – March 12, 2009 – Nonoba http://www.noboba.com, where Flash developers and casual game players come together on the web, today announced that it is joining Mochi Media and Adobe as a sponsor of the Flash Gaming Summit 2009, a new conference dedicated to fostering the growth and success of the Flash games community.
Flash Gaming Summit 2009 – March 22, 2009 at The Solarium in downtown San Francisco – is expected to attract game developers, artists, entrepreneurs, investors and game portal owners interested in Flash gaming, as well as companies in the gaming and social media markets. The summit was established by Mochi Media for industry leaders to share insights and strategies regarding game development and the business of making games.
Nonoba Co-founder, Chris Benjaminsen will speak during the summit’s opening session entitled, Designing and Building Successful Multiplayer Games. Prior to Nonoba, a technology market leader in multiplayer and payment tools for Flash developers, Chris was the co-founder and president of BeIT ApS, a production house specializing in communities and multiplayer games for the Scandinavian market.
“Nonoba has some very cool Flash developer tools – like our multiplayer and payment APIs – and we want to share them with the community,” said Nonoba Co-founder Oliver Pedersen. “We wouldn’t miss the Game Developers Conference, but Flash Gaming Summit 2009 is going to be super important and useful for anyone into Flash gaming.”
