FISHLABS' Fantasy RPG Blades & Magic™ Final Version at Games Convention
HAMBURG, GERMANY, 16th of August 2007 - FISHLABS, a leading developer of premium 3D mobile games, is proud to announce the final version of its IMGA shortlisted and critically acclaimed fantasy RPG Blades & Magic will hit the floors at Games Convention in Leipzig next week and is expected to go live across carriers worldwide and on www.fishlabs.net in September/October.
To support a maximum range of handsets Blades & Magic comes in two different versions. On Sony Ericsson phones, and the BREW platform later this year, the game features fully animated and detailed 3D battle sceneries and yet unseen 3D cinematics in a mobile game. For less powerful mobile phones stunning pre-rendered 3D sceneries will bring 3D game experience even to 2D handsets. However, any version will incorporate the full functionality of 42 warrior and magic skills within a 10,000 words storyline of nine chapters and 24 cut scenes, adding up to six to ten hours of pure gameplay.
FISHLABS' CEO and Co-Founder Michael Schade states: "Finally, after more than 18 months of development we're excited to demo the final version of Blades & Magic at Games Convention. The title has already received high praise at top-tier gaming events for its unique combination of truly stunning visual art and animation, long-lasting playability and one-thumb gaming and we expect Blades & Magic to be one of our new top-sellers."
Blades & Magic will be brought to more than 150 channels across Europe, South America and Asia by Player X and to North American carriers by WDA, later this year. Player X has direct distribution deals with more than 110 mobile operators with a potential global footprint of more than 2.6 billion people.
"Our strategy is to only work with a small number of content providers so we can ensure the best possible service for their quality products. Blades & Magic is one of the best 3D titles out there and we're looking forward to taking Blades & Magic to gamers all around the planet," said Tony Pearce, Player X CEO.
