First GameHorizon 2014 speakers announced
Livingstone, Reil, Myllyrinne, Clark, Smith, Dromgoole and Moore presenting in Newcastle
GamesIndustry International is proud to present the first batch of speakers for our GameHorizon 2014 event, which will take place in Newcastle, England from May 7-8.
Heading the list is Torsten Reil, CEO of influential middleware producer, publisher and developer Natural Motion. In just over 12 years, Reil has developed Natural Motion from a small concern operating from Oxford University into an animation specialist providing software solutions to a wealth of major industry players as well as producing and publishing a number of hugely successful games itself - recently acquiring Brighton-based Boss Alien after their incredibly successful collaboration on mobile hit CSR Racing.
Joining Torsten will be Matias Myllyrinne, CEO of Finnish studio Remedy, a company which has earned a reputation for hard-hitting and accomplished AAA games, with a forthcoming high-profile transmedia title underway for the Xbox One in the shape of Quantum Break. Also on the card are John Clark of SEGA, who as VP of Digital Distribution has engineered major changes at one of the industry's most established players; Sean Dromgoole of GameVision, which specialises in world-leading data reporting for the games industry; Jonathan Smith of Traveller's Tales, makers of the phenomenal series of LEGO games and Dr. Simon Moore, psychologist and partner at Kriel, Sorrell and Moore.
Also speaking at the event, and hosting an exclusive poker tournament during the evening of May 7, is Ian Livingstone CBE, who needs very little introduction at all.
More speakers are going to be announced in the run up to this year's event, but to get the latest information on sessions, tickets and other opportunities, please see the event's website.
