Finger Stomp

iPad urban music-making game now available for iPhone and iPod touch too.

greySox today is proud to announce the iPhone and iPod touch version of Finger Stomp HD, a popular street music and old-school urban hip-hop music making application previously available for the iPad. The iPad version has been incredibly successful and has been featured in the "New and Noteworthy" and the "What's Hot" section of the Apple App Store. It also dominated the #1 position in the Music category of Brazil and South Korea, and garnered much acclaim on musicradar.com, as one of the "Best music making apps for mobiles."

Finger Stomp features everything Users need in order to make their own freestyle version of urban music. Users can choose unique items such as chains, cans, signs and buckets to truly recreate their own individual street music and therefore create tunes never before heard on the iPhone. Objects can be seamlessly mixed and matched on screen while an integrated BPM Counter, Metronome, Record, Replay and Export Function and 50 bundled preset beats offer a complete street music and old-school sound production package.

"We are very excited to release the iPhone and iPod touch version of the Finger Stomp HD app." Says Seungyi Lee, President of greySox. "With the popularity of Finger Stomp HD, we wanted iPhone and iPod touch users to be able to experience what was only available for the iPad."

The new iPhone version holds features not included in the iPad version such as: practice mode, ability to export as .wav files, SoundCloud networking, and 50 new sample beats and sounds.

The practice mode was included to help users of the app learn how to create urban beats and sounds. There are a total of 50 different tracks, with varying levels of difficulty ranging from one to five stars. When practicing, objects are highlighted on the screen to indicate the order in which they must be played. Tracks are also divided into equal parts to help users learn how to play in stages. Five different tempos can also be selected so musicians can learn at their own pace.

Finger Stomp HD reached a rank of #4 in the US music category. It has also reached the Top 50 in 29 Countries including the UK, Canada, Italy, France, and Japan.
