Final Fantasy XI in ex-USSR territories by Akella

Moscow, November 5.

Akella proudly announces signing the contract with Ubisoft about the distribution of MMORPG Final Fantasy XI in Russia and the territories of the CIS and Baltics.

Final Fantasy series doesn't need any representation - for almost 15 years Square Enix pleases gamers with outstanding RPG-games featuring exciting story-lines, traditionally amazing graphics and original combat system. The new project is unique in its own way, as developers have decided "to cut a window" into the world of online the first time from the very foundation of the series.

Developers do not plan to divide the community of PlayStation 2 and PC-players - both platforms will share same servers. According to all available information, the total number of subscribers has exceeded 1,500 thousands of players.

Action of Final Fantasy XI takes place in the fantastic world of Vana'diel which is occupied by 5 playable races: humans (Hume), elves (Elvaan), halflings (tarutaru), women-cats (mithra) and ominous ogres (galka).

The world of the game is extremely huge: hundreds of monsters, spells, quests, accessible jobs and a lot of items, weapons and armors - an extremely impressive variety! Only cooperating in groups and clans allows players to achieve best results.

Concerning graphics party, Final Fantasy XI is almost flawless: the most detailed models of characters, the realistic system of change of day and night, traditionally astonishing special effects and bewitching pastoral landscapes won't leave even the most fastidious users indifferent. Speaking about game sound indefinitely would be inexcusable blasphemy: you better listen to it than read about it. Interactively changing depending on game events, opera compositions simply charm.
