FileFront to close doors
Ziff Davis shuts down final videogame property, citing "current economic conditions"
Ziff Davis' FileFront is to shut down operations at the end of the month, citing "current economic conditions".
The file distribution site is the last of the US publisher's videogame properties, following the closure of EGM and sale of 1UP.
"We regret to inform you that due to the current economic conditions we are forced to indefinitely suspend the FileFront site operations on March 30," read a message on the site.
"We would like to give a warm thank you to all of you who have been part of the FileFront communities we have built together. Your support has had a meaningful impact for all of us here at FileFront."
Following FileFront's closure, Ziff Davis' only remaining properties will be ExtremeTech and PC Magazine.
