Fiesta Online
Virtual weddings added, with WiLDFiRe the first groom. (Our mothers told us never to marry a man who doesn't understand the concept of letter casing.)
SAN FRANCISCO - June 24, 2008
Outspark, a leading virtual playground offering online community-based gaming, today announced the launch of in-game weddings in its hit RPG Fiesta. This feature allows players to virtually “tie the knot” in a special ceremony at the game’s new scenic location, the Chapel in the Sky. Leading up to the launch of the new wedding feature, Outspark will host in-game bachelor and bachelorette parties for the first couple to be married.
The celebration will run daily from June 24 – June 27, 2008 with in-game bachelor and bachelorette parties in Fiesta. Game Master (GM) WiLDFiRe is getting married in-game and Outspark is inviting you along for the adventure with these highly anticipated online community events. Get ready to dance, hang out, win prizes and be ready for a few surprises.
On July 1 and 2, 2008, WiLDFiRe will marry his bride during two special in-game ceremonies accessible to the player community. Not able to attend the wedding? Outspark invites the first 1,000 players to watch a live broadcast of the event, courtesy of their new partnership with technology provider Dyyno.
Beginning July 3, 2008, all players can purchase premium in-game tuxedos, wedding dresses and wedding certificates, and will be able to marry their fellow gamers.
