Field & Stream Fishing

We'd imagine you'll catch more in the stream than the field, but either way an arcade-style angling experience is promised.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Super Happy Fun Fun, Inc. Announces Field & Stream Fishing for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

AUSTIN, TX – August 30, 2010 – Super Happy Fun Fun, Inc., the developer and publisher of the smash hit iPhone version of Big Buck Hunter ® Pro TM today announced the release of its newest game for the Apple iPhone: Field & Stream Fishing.

Field & Stream Fishing is an exciting, arcade game that breaks the mold of existing slower-paced fishing titles with a focus on angling action. Its flick motion casting and wily fish population give every player a chance to hone their skills and haul in the big ones.

“We can’t always get out to the lake,” said Mark Stephen Pierce, CEO of Super Happy Fun Fun, Inc., “So pairing the Field & Stream ® brand with an arcade-style iPhone game provides a ton of enjoyment for casual game players and outdoorsmen alike. Our new partnership with Field & Stream is a great opportunity to further build Super Happy Fun Fun’s reputation as a provider of great outdoor sports titles for iPhone users. Field & Stream has huge brand recognition and our game embraces the sport of fishing with an equally huge injection of fun.”

Field & Stream Fishing releases with fifteen fishing spots across three famous fishing locations: Whitebear Lake, Minnesota; Lake Amistad, Texas; and Kanai River, Alaska. A fourth location, Torch Lake, Michigan, is available as downloadable content with more fishing locations planned for future updates. Built into the product are information tickers and live notifications of catches.

“We want people to come back and we want them to tell their friends” says Pierce, “which is why we built in rich social networking features. Not only can you post your achievements to Facebook and global leaderboards, but you are also notified of how well your friends are fishing the very same spot. It is fun to tell a fish story, but it’s more fun if you can prove it in real time. If the competition just among our beta test crew is any indication, the iPhone community at large is going to light up the leaderboards for bragging rights on every monster catch.”

Field & Stream Fishing is available now for $2.99 on both the iPhone and iPod touch, through the iPhone App Store. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/field-stream-fishing/id365103480?mt=8
