Festival of Games confirms roster of MMO speakers
Gamigo, BigPoint and Virtual Playground lined up for Dutch industry conference
The organisers of the upcoming Festival of Games conference due to take place in the Netherlands in June have announced a roster of speakers that will talk specifically about the MMO market.
Newly confirmed for the event is Gamigo exec Ralph Frefat, who will talk about the decision to localise one of its games for the Dutch market; and BigPoint exec Nils-Holger Henning, who will talk about the studio's upcoming MMO based on sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica.
Also hosting a session at the event will be Maarten Brands from Virtual Playground, who will discuss the process the studio went through persuading investors to back an MMO game for youngsters based on the animation series Galactik Football.
Other speakers appearing at the Festival of Games will be David Perry, Ian Livingstone, Kelle Santiago and Martin de Ronde.
The festival will take place on June 3 and 4 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
