Fatal1ty Booth Moves Out Of Lower Level Kentia Hall And Up To West Hall With Fatal1ty Shootout
ABIT, Creative Labs, Zalman Demonstrate in Fatal1ty Booth Featuring Fatal1ty Shootout and ACON 05 Finals
(Woodland Hills, CA, May 3, 2005) - Auravision, Inc. announces that Fatal1ty, the world's best known PC gamer and current DOOM 3 champ, has moved from last year's 400 square foot E3 space in Kentia Hall to a 2,500 square foot E3 booth in West Hall #2228. He'll be there answering 1 v 1 challenges from show attendees in 4-minute Fatal1ty Shootouts playing Unreal Tournament. Challengers can win $2,500 if they are able to beat Fatal1ty and other prizes can be won for scoring points against him. The Shootout will run all three days of the show from 10:30am to 12:30pm. On Wednesday and Thursday, May 18 and 19, afternoon shootouts will be held from 3:00 to 5:00. Fatal1ty partners, ABIT, Creative Labs and Zalman, will also be present in the Fatal1ty E3 booth. ABIT will hold the North American finals of its popular competitive world wide gaming event; ACON5, in the E3 booth from 1:00 to 3:00. Counter Strike Team Finals will be held Wednesday, May 18 and Warcraft III Frozen Throne Finals will be held Thursday, May 19. ABIT will also display its newest products at the booth, including the latest Fatal1ty NI8 SLI, Fatal1ty AN8 SLI and Fatal1ty X800XL graphic card.
Creative Labs will be at E3 to discuss its deal with Fatal1ty to create products under the Fatal1ty brand name. Under the agreement, Creative and Fatal1ty will collaborate on the design and technical specifications for a variety of PC input devices and audio solutions. Each product will be designed to deliver the highest level of responsiveness and accuracy in its category. The collaborative design process between Creative and Fatal1ty began early this year and all products designed under this partnership will be branded Fatal1ty and Creative.
Zalman will be showing, for the first time, its new official Fatal1ty coolers, the FS-C77 CPU Cooler and the FS-V7 VGA cooler, as well as the new Fatal1ty QDT 500 Computer Enclosure.

Fatal1ty Shootouts are competitions open to event attendees who want the chance to play against the world's best-known professional gamer. Prizes are awarded for any points scored, with $2,500 going to the first challenger to defeat Fatal1ty. Additional valuable prizes will be awarded to other contestants who also have what it takes to beat Fatal1ty or score frags against him.
Shootouts will be contested on computer systems built with Fatal1ty brand components as at all previous events. Fatal1ty Shootouts have been held at locations around the world, including The Great Wall of China, Moscow's Red Square and London's Leicester Square.

Johnathan first got involved in professional PC gaming tournaments when he heard about CPL's Frag3 Tournament that took place in October 1999.
