Farming Simulator 2011

Launched in the States.

Chatham, UK-October 29, 2010- Big Sims, the leading innovator of realistic simulation entertainment, announced today that Farming Simulator 2011 has launched in North America. With a ton of new gameplay options such as livestock breeding and an improved career mode, the latest version of the worldwide best-selling farm simulator offers a variety of agribusiness challenges.

In Farm Simulator 2011 players take on the role of a young farmer faced with the test of building a successful business. Beginning with just a thousand acres of beautiful rolling countryside and a small collection of vehicles, they progress through the game by completing a range of farming tasks over 18 hour days, like breeding and feeding cows, spreading manure, milking, plowing, seeding and baling, eventually building up wealth to invest in newer and better equipment and machinery. With licenses from leading manufacturers such as DEUTZ-FAHR, KRONE, HORSCH, PÖTTINGER and VOGEL & NOOT, Farming Simulator 2011 features a variety of sophisticated and authentically replicated equipment for players to choose from, including tractors, combine harvesters, plows, seeders and balers.

The game's multiplayer mode allows players to manage their farms together with friends over the Internet or local area network. Steering wheels and gamepads are supported, and players may download additional machines and maps with automatic mod installation, as well as a Mod SDK containing an editor, exporters and sample mods.

Farming Simulator 2011 is now available for $29.99 on Steam. For more information, please visit http://store.steampowered.com/app/90200/
