Browser-based footie sim management in beta training.
KIRKLAND, Wash. - June 23, 2010
WeMade Entertainment today announced the beta release of their newest web-based title, Fantasy Football Manager South Africa. In FFM South Africa, users recruit real-life soccer players to assemble a fantasy sports team and score points whenever the player kicks a goal or makes a great play in an actual match. Soccer aficionados now have the chance to become a part of the excitement of World Cup in this free-to-play experience, playable on any Internet browser.
During the preparation phase, users will use their allocated salary cap to assemble a team of their favorite real-life soccer players. Users can also purchase Fantasy Items, to score bonuses when a player achieves a goal. For example, the “First Half Goal” item will award 4 extra points in the event your player gets a goal in the first half of a real life game. FFM South Africa adds a new dimension of interactivity to watching your favorite players, because every time they score points, you win too. And the more your players win, the more you can improve your team and upgrade your stats. Choose among four game modes including: standard fantasy sports, group match, one-on-one match and score betting so you can switch up how you play. Players can also see how their teams stack up against others in national and worldwide rankings.
