FacePro trademark dispute
FacePro LLC and DigitalConcepts Group settle differences amicably.
December 24th, 2009, Los Angeles, California –
FacePro LLC and DigitalConcepts Group, Inc. are pleased to announce a resolution to a Federal Trademark Infringement Suit over the “ FacePro®” trademark. After reaching an amicable resolution, DCG has assigned the “ FacePro®” trademark to FacePro LLC, and DCG has re-named its facial motion capture product, “DCG FACE™”.
“We are happy to have this matter resolved,” said Rod Stafford, President and founder of FacePro LLC, in a recent interview. “Facial animation is a very competitive market segment, and we’ve worked hard to establish FacePro® as a high-quality alternative to facial motion capture.”
