F-Players(TM) Sign Top Ranked Professional Video Gamer Magnus "fojji" Olsson
Top Ranked Quake Player Joins Group of World Class Video Gamers
(Woodland Hills, CA) - Auravision, Inc.,
Master Licensor for the Fatal1ty brand, and Johnathan
"Fatal1ty" Wendel jointly announced today that Magnus "fojji"
Olsson has signed an agreement to become an F-Player. The
22-year-old professional PC video gamer from Hässleholm,
Sweden is an emerging global star in video gaming and is
among the best Quake players in the world. Fojji, and his
Quake 4 TDM team, the iCE cLIMBERS, recently won the GGL
Quake 4 TDM championship for the fourth time. Magnus Olsson
joins Alessandro "stermy" Avallone, who, in his first start
as an F-Player, took 3rd place and a $70,000 purse at the CPL
World Tour Finals this past November in New York City.
"Magnus is exactly the type of person we're looking for to
join F-Players," said Johnathan Wendel. "He's bright, well
spoken and games at the highest level - he's a winner."
Olsson expressed great excitement with this arrangement.
"F-Players, Fatal1ty and the entire Fatal1ty Brand Partners
group, have been very professional in their approach to
organized video gaming," he stated. "They bring so much more
to the table than just gaming, including business and
lifestyle opportunities that I wouldn't be able to access by
myself."
Fojji will be appearing with other F-Players at the E3 Expo
in Los Angeles May 10-12. They will be taking part in various
activities from the Fatal1ty booth #1606 in the South Hall of
the Los Angeles Convention Center. Fojji will also be joining
stermy and Fatal1ty at the Intel Gaming Party Wednesday
evening, May 10.
About Magnus "fojji" Olsson
Magnus first made a name for himself as a Quake Team Death
Match (TDM) player with the legendary team "p1mpz" in the
year 2000. Soon after that he joined team iCE cLIMBERS to
form the most successful Quake TDM team to date. iCE cLIMBERS
were recently crowned world champions at the 2006
TransAtlantic Showdown, making them the first four time Quake
TDM champions.
In 2002 Magnus expanded his resume. In addition to his TDM
success, he began an individual career as a 1vs1 FPS player,
combining both the individual and team oriented aspects of
the game. In 2003 he was selected to represent his country at
the ESWC Championships, in which Team Sweden emerged
victorious. His individual gaming career is marked by
consistent top 3 finishes and earned him the reputation as
one of the best all around Quake players in the world.
About Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel
Johnathan became the world's first full time professional
video gamer in October 1999, when he placed third at the
CPL's Frag3 tournament. Two weeks later he was invited to
represent the USA in an international tournament in
Stockholm, where he went undefeated with a perfect
performance, winning all 18 maps and losing none. He has
continued to dominate competitions all over the world,
competing on 6 continents during his 6-year professional
career.
Winning the 2005 CPL World Tour Finals in New York City

unprecedented achievement. His New York City victory earned
him $150,000 and brought his 2005 total winnings to $231,000.
