Extreme Sledding

3D alpine racer launched on the App Store.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY – Dec 1, 2009 – Muse Games announced today that Extreme Sledding for iPhone and iPod touch is now available on the iTunes App Store for $1.99. Players race as a young Yeti who seeks honor and glory by tobogganing down insane terrain at ridiculous speeds!

No self respecting Yeti would be caught dead on “green” slopes or “groomers.” Extreme Sledding is a full-on 3D alpine racing game, featuring slalom and downhill courses, big air, and lots of speed. Players must race on the edge of control to unlock all 15 incredibly deadly trails and bring home the gold medals.

The game takes full advantage of the iPhone's capabilities, featuring finely tuned physics-based controls for intuitive gameplay. Unlike other games that use the accelerometer technology, Extreme Sledding incorporates a sophisticated “absolute steering” model, where 1:2 tilting ratio on the iPhone results in more responsive in-game control. This adjustment is the “secret sauce” that brings players to Yeti tobogganing nirvana.
