Exit Games Neutron

To provide the gubbins for Konami's upcoming mobile version of DanceDanceRevolution.

HAMBURG, Germany – May 27th, 2008 – Exit Games today announced that their mobile gaming platform, Neutron®, has been selected by Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. to support multiplayer features for the upcoming mobile game, DanceDanceRevolution® (DDR). With the power of Exit Games’ Neutron technology platform, Konami Mobile will add mobile-to-mobile, real-time multiplayer gaming and leader boards to the latest version of DDR. The new DDR mobile game is scheduled to release in the Fall of 2008.

The Neutron-supported mobile DDR will revolutionize the way people play the popular franchise, adding never before seen network features. Players will have the ability to dance off against their friends in real time directly from their mobile device, or choose to highlight their latest solo performance by uploading their score online for their friends to see.

“The Neutron gaming platform will enable Konami Mobile to create one of the first full-featured mobile multiplayer games,” said Jim Bradbury, Konami Mobile’s Executive Director. “Social gaming and community features are what consumers want, and with Neutron providing the back end technology, Konami Mobile will bring fans of the DDR series a version of the game that they can enjoy from almost anywhere.”

This collaboration with Konami adds another top-tier client to the roster of companies that have chosen to partner with Exit Games. The lineup of leading developers, publishers, technology providers and wireless carriers creates an ecosystem of players involved in mobile multiplayer gaming, clearly positioning Exit Games’ Neutron technology at the forefront of this movement.

“Neutron continues to prove itself as an ideal solution for world-class developers and publishers,” said Tom Sperry, CEO of Exit Games. “The addition of DDR to the lineup of mobile games supporting multiplayer and social networking capabilities reaffirms our leadership position in a market where there is a premium on extending the consumer experience.”
