18th October 2004 - Nintendo has today unveiled the exclusive Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Platinum Pak containing a copy of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, a Platinum coloured Nintendo GameCube and a controller at the fantastic estimated retail price of around £79! This means now everyone can buy a Nintendo GameCube and get a copy of the game completely free! This great offer launches across the UK on 05 November 2004, just in time for Christmas.
With Mario Kart: Double Dash!! players can experience frantic multiplayer racing mayhem at its finest with a host of challenging tracks, characters and all manner of inventive weaponry. This time round, there's been one major change to the rules of the road...now there are two riders per kart! Choose from a variety of colourful characters and their vehicles then take your pick from the Mushroom, Flower or Star Cup challenges!
