Ex Machina launches next-gen multiplayer solutions

Mobile community solution and multiplayer engine launched

Amsterdam-based mobile technology and service provider, Ex Machina, has announced the launch of two new products, designed specifically for the provision and enhancement of connected mobile gaming and wireless community services.

Responding to the rapid growth of community gaming and the emergence of increasingly powerful and multi-functional handsets, Ex Machina has created Mobiles United - a mobile gaming community solution, and an enhanced multiplayer engine and SDK, Deus 2.

Optimized for integration with CRM and billing infrastructure, the combined products provide a complete software and service solution for the development and management of online gaming communities within mobile portals. Deus has been specifically engineered to provide the flexibility of supporting both the existing mass-market phones and 2.5G networks, as well as the developing market for advanced 3G handsets and operator networks.

Mobiles United provides an end-to-end experience with exclusive games, a personalized approach, exciting competitions and communication capabilities, whilst Deus 2.0 supports hybrid usage from IP connected devices, such as GPRS and UMTS phones, digital TV and PCs.

Ex Machina has been developing tools and services to help its partners reduce cost, increase market reach and create and manage unique new games and applications based on connectivity and communication since 2001. Current partners and product customers include T-Mobile, G-mode, Telia Sonera and Taito, amongst many others.

Mobiles United and Deus 2.0 will initially be launched in Finnish markets, with additional territories to follow shortly after. Further information on the services available at Ex Machina, together with comprehensive product sheets for Mobiles United and Deus 2.0 can be found by visiting the company website.
