For Immediate Release
Brighton, England. 26 April, 2010. Eurogamer, Europe’s leading independent games media specialist, is thrilled to announce that PS3bloggen.se has re-launched as Eurogamer Sweden. The website is now live at www.eurogamer.se
Widely respected and regarded as the best blog of its kind, the former PS3bloggen.se site has a readership of more that 10,000 unique readers a week under editor Toby Lee, now editor of Eurogamer Sweden.
The site is the latest independent gaming outlet to team up with Eurogamer, the largest and most respected network of gaming sites in Europe. The Eurogamer network now extends across eleven countries and reaches an audience of more than 4.5 million unique visitors a month (ABCe, November 2009).
Eurogamer Sweden's eleven-strong team will produce multi-format news, reviews, previews and features and maintain the high editorial standards set by the rest of the Eurogamer network.
“The Eurogamer.se team are a talented group who are well respected among Swedish gamers, and we’re really pleased to have them join the network,” said Rupert Loman, Managing Director, Eurogamer Network.
“This latest partnership is symbolic of our ambition to continue growing the network worldwide.”
Eurogamer Sweden Editor Toby Lee added: “In addition to the worldwide stories that we will continue to cover, Eurogamer.se represents a space in which the Swedish gaming community can meet, form clans, discuss and read news and articles that are most relevant to their territory."
Since its launch in 2006, PS3bloggen.se has become the largest and most popular PlayStation 3 videogame blog in its territory, with its reviews listed on influential review aggregator Metacritic.com.
