Eurogamer Network, publisher of GamesIndustry.biz and consumer site Eurogamer.net, has revealed official ABCE audited figures showing a rise of half a million unique users.

During November 2007 the Eurogamer Network reached over 1.8 million unique users, and over 14.7 million page impressions.

The ABCE figures are the latest since Eurogamer added German and French sites to the network.

The company has also announced the appointment of Oli Welsh as editor of a dedicated MMO channel, due to launch shortly.

"We're very pleased to have added over half a million monthly unique users this year," commented Eurogamer's managing director Rupert Loman.

"It is proof that our European strategy is starting to pay off and underlines the effort our entire team has put in to the site."

"This year we've strengthened our editorial team and rolled out design changes to the site which are paying off in terms of increased traffic for 2008 already," he added.
